Pavneet (Happy) Singh, a dedicated local business owner, family man, and community leader, proudly stands as the BC United candidate for the Kelowna – Lake Country – Coldstream riding.

Originally arriving in Canada as an international student, Pavneet’s journey started with humble beginnings as a dishwasher as he embraced the values of dedication, hard work, and prudent financial management. Today, Pavneet, alongside his brother, spearheads a successful enterprise, overseeing multiple thriving businesses that have made a significant impact on the Okanagan’s job market creating employment opportunities for over 80 individuals.

Deeply committed to community welfare, Pavneet’s selfless nature was evident even during his student years, where he volunteered at Kelowna General Hospital. As a testament to his community-first approach, he actively supports the Kelowna and Lake Country Fire Departments, sponsoring numerous events to contribute to their vital work.

In times of crisis, Pavneet has proven himself to be a pillar of support in his community. Throughout the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent wildfires, he demonstrated unwavering generosity by providing hundreds of complimentary meals to healthcare workers, first responders, firefighters, and evacuated individuals at his restaurants, Pita Pit and Freshslice.

A loving husband and father of two, Pavneet takes immense pride in calling the beautiful Okanagan his home. His family’s flourishing in the region has inspired him to embark on the next chapter of his journey—public service. Ready and prepared, Pavneet aspires to give back to the community that has played a pivotal role in shaping his success, making him the ideal candidate to represent the interests of the Kelowna – Lake Country – Coldstream riding.
