Lehann Wallace is the twice-elected Area Director for the Regional District of Nanaimo, representing the Oceanside areas of Dashwood, Qualicum Beach, French Creek, Parksville, Englishman River, and Nanoose Bay.

Born in Prince George, Lehann graduated from UBC Sauder School of Business, Marketing and Sales Management. She has completed conflict resolution and group facilitation training from The Justice Institute of BC and BCIT Training in Project Management. She has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from the University of Victoria, Gustavson School of Business, and in 2020, Lehann completed an Executive Certificate in Local Government from Dalhousie University.

Lehann is an accomplished business owner and active community leader with over 25 years of marketing experience in senior and executive roles with national firms. Her career began on the front line in the non-profit sector, administering subsidized housing programs for low-income families and developing programs to increase inclusive child care spaces. With a wealth of non-profit, volunteer, and corporate experience, Lehann has successfully led numerous teams to complete Marketing, IT, and Infrastructure projects.

Lehann is a strong advocate and proven community builder. She has a track record of facilitating diverse stakeholders on complex projects, such as providing clean drinking water for French Creek residents, advocating for innovative developer proposals, and achieving significant conservation land acquisitions.

Since being elected in 2019, Lehann has served on multiple regional committees:

  • Nanaimo Regional Hospital Board
  • Regional District of Nanaimo Board Executive
  • North Island 911 Corporation
  • Regional Transit Redevelopment

  • Regional and Community Parks and Recreation
  • The Englishman River and Arrowsmith Water Service Boards

Lehann and her husband Jay have resided in Nanoose Bay since 2011.

“Ladysmith-Oceanside deserves a strong advocate in government who will achieve actual results with their hard-earned tax dollars. With skyrocketing costs, failure to deliver health care results, and reckless implementation of zoning density without local government consultation – it’s time for change. BC United is the only credible coalition alternative that can beat the NDP with a real plan to fix the issues that matter most to the communities of Ladysmith-Oceanside.”
