Get to Know Aronjit Lageri

Aronjit Lageri is a dedicated professional and community advocate, seamlessly blending expertise in health care with a passion for service and community engagement.

Hailing from Punjab, India, Aronjit began his academic journey at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Sciences. Embracing Canada’s skilled immigration system, he furthered his expertise with a graduate program in MRI Scanning Technology & Informatics Administration from the renowned Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences, affiliated with the University of Toronto. Additionally, Aronjit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Sciences from AdventHealth University in Florida.

With over 22 years of experience in the health care industry, Aronjit has practiced as an MRI Technologist in various provinces, including roles at Vancouver Coastal Health and as Manager of False Creek Diagnostic Center. Complementing his professional journey, he obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Long Term Care Administration from Saint Joseph College, Maine, and actively engages in senior care advocacy.

Aronjit, a pillar of his community, immigrated to Canada three decades ago. He and his wife, both health care professionals, are proud parents to three children. Aronjit’s commitment to mentorship extends to the field of Medical Radiation Sciences, and he has recently ventured into Real Estate integrating his passion for service with housing solutions. He has served on various community boards including the Governance Committee of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, the BC Community Response Network, Surrey Hospice Society, and the Surrey Ethics Commissioner Selection Committee.

Passionate about amplifying voices on pertinent issues, Aronjit fosters dialogue through radio platforms, envisioning a participative society where collective action shapes a brighter future. With an unwavering commitment to community prosperity, Aronjit eagerly looks forward to engaging and actively participating in building a fair and prosperous society.
