KAMLOOPS, B.C. – BC United is thrilled to announce Michael Grenier as its candidate for the Cariboo-Chilcotin riding in the upcoming provincial election. With a rich background in business and development, coupled with a strong commitment to his community, Grenier brings a wealth of experience and passion to the role.

Grenier is currently a Director with the Thompson Nicola-Regional District. He has called Cherry Creek home since 1996 and has significantly contributed to the local economy as the founder of Tobiano, Tobiano Golf Course, and Kamloops Lake Marina. His service on various boards, including the TNRD Film Commission and Kamloops Airport Advisory Board, further highlights his dedication to the community.

“Michael Grenier is exactly the kind of dedicated, entrepreneurial leader we need in Cariboo-Chilcotin,” said Kevin Falcon, Leader of BC United. “His dedication to the region is clear, and with his background in business and giving back to the area, I know that he will be the strong common sense voice that the residents of Cariboo-Chilcotin expect.”

“I am deeply honoured to have the opportunity to represent BC United in Cariboo-Chilcotin,” said Michael Grenier, BC United MLA candidate for Cariboo-Chilcotin. “I am committed to enhancing the rural, urban, and recreational lifestyle experiences for all residents and visitors. My vision includes fostering economic growth, improving local amenities, and ensuring a high quality of life for everyone in our community. I look forward to earning the trust and support of voters, with common sense policies and the work ethic the people of Cariboo-Chilcotin expect.”

“Michael Grenier has been a driving force in our community for many years,” said Jackie Tegart, BC United MLA for Fraser-Nicola. “I cannot think of a better person to be working to earn the support of the people of Cariboo-Chilcotin and I know he will be a strong advocate for the region in Victoria, as the next BC United MLA.”

Grenier joins a distinguished group of elected officials from across B.C., including Kevin Acton, Shane Brienen, Lehann Wallace, Stephen Johnston, Barb Martens, Greg McCune, and Dave Sidhu. Together, they are stepping up to run for BC United because they know it’s the only party with the common sense mainstream policies needed to defeat the NDP and secure a prosperous future for British Columbia.
