PORT COQUITLAM, B.C. – Today, BC United proudly welcomed Keenan Adams as the party’s candidate for Port Coquitlam in preparation for the upcoming provincial election, scheduled for October 2024.
Kevin Falcon, Leader of BC United, expressed his excitement, stating, “I am delighted to introduce Keenan Adams as our candidate for Port Coquitlam. Keenan’s connection to his community, combined with his hard work ethic and dedication to giving back to Port Coquitlam, make him a great addition to our BC United team. Keenan Adams, a proud resident of Port Coquitlam since 2010, brings a wealth of experience and community involvement to the table. A graduate of the BCIT Railway Conductor program, Keenan has excelled in his career at the local rail yard, eventually attaining the prestigious position of Locomotive Engineer. Not only has he demonstrated excellence in his professional life, but he has also actively participated in union and volunteer roles, and pursued further education in Public Relations, showcasing his commitment to bettering his community.
Reflecting on his journey, Keenan Adams shared, “Port Coquitlam is not just where I live; it’s my home. From my work on the railroad to my involvement in community initiatives like the Adopt-A-Spot program, I’ve always believed in the power of connection and hard work to bring positive change to our city. I’m determined to fix our crumbling healthcare system, restore safety to our streets, address the cost-of-living crisis, and ensure affordable housing is available for young people and families across Port Coquitlam, and all of British Columbia.”
