BC United introduces Daniel Kofi Ampong as candidate for Burnaby-New Westminster

NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C. – BC United is proud to announce Daniel Kofi Ampong as its candidate for Burnaby-New Westminster in the upcoming provincial election. With a rich history rooted in community engagement and a vision for a brighter future, Ampong brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his candidacy.

Originally from Obuasi, Ghana, Ampong and his family settled in New Westminster in 1994. As a local business owner, Ampong has witnessed the community’s evolution first-hand and knows how important community-minded leadership is to its continued evolution. In addition to running a local business, Ampong is an active community volunteer with youth sports teams in the community.

“Daniel’s active community involvement and experience running a small business in Burnaby-New Westminster will make him a terrific advocate for its residents,” said BC United Leader Kevin Falcon. “At a time where we see continued private sector job losses in B.C., we need entrepreneurs like Daniel in government to help grow jobs and paycheques for British Columbians.”
