BC United Introduces Chris Moore as Candidate for Powell River-Sunshine Coast

VANCOUVER, B.C. – Today, BC United is excited to announce Chris Moore as the candidate for Powell River-Sunshine Coast in preparation for the next provincial election, slated for October 2024.

With over 30 years of experience in building homes for families in B.C., Chris Moore brings a deep understanding of the housing crisis across our province and a commitment to serving the constituents in Powell River-Sunshine Coast.

As a successful business leader across the region, Chris has been recognized for amplifying the ideals of private sector leadership in building community through affordable housing. As a former Councillor for the District of Sechelt, Chris served as Chair of the Airport Advisory Committee, building a plan for development and expansion of the Sechelt Airport, saying “I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside the people of Powell River-Sunshine Coast on various projects and I’m looking forward to fixing British Columbia under the Leadership for BC United Leader, Kevin Falcon. We need an MLA who will advocate for the most important issues to our communities like, health care, transportation and housing. I am committed to bringing my experience to help get things done for our communities.”
